The Royal Civil Service Commission has invited requisition for Senior Volunteers under SeniorVolunteer Programme (SVP) and Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteer (JOCV) from Ministries andAgencies for the Autumn Recruitment 2014.

In the event your agency need services of Senior Volunteers and JOCVs, kindly fill up the standardrequest forms available on the RCSC website and forward the same to the HRD latest by 2yd May2014 for onward submission to the RCSC.

Details of invitation and other important information and conditions are uploaded in the Ministry'swebsite.

Dasho / Sir/Madam,

The Royal Civil Service Commission would like to invite requisition for SeniorVolunteers under Senior Volunteer Programme (SVP)and Japan Overseas CooperationVolunteer (JOCV) from various Ministries and Agencies for the Autumn Recruitment2014.

In the event, the service of Senior Volunteers and JOCVs are required, kindly fill up thestandard request forms available on the RCSC website and forward the same to theRCSC latest by May 31, 2014. Also do note the following:

l. Senior Volunteer request forms and JOCV request forms are different and arerequired to be filled respectively as per the needs;

2. All Dzongkhag requests have to be routed through the Parent Ministries;3. Incomplete and wrongly filled forms shall not be entertained;4. The requisition(s) that is/ are in pipeline (attached) need not be submitted again;5. Nomination of a full time qualified counterpart to work with the volunteer and please

avoid frequent changes in the counterpart; .6. Any request(s) made directly to the office of JICA Bhutan will not be endorsed.

However, a copy of the requisition may kindly be sent to the JICA Bhutan office.

1) Kindly answer all the questions on the request form.2) If you have more than one request, please fill it out 011 a separate request form.3) The standard processing time for a request is 1 year; therefore the volunteer will only be

dispatched the following year.4) The long term volunteers are posted for a period of 2 years. The short-term volunteers

are dispatched for 1-10 months.5) Please indicate on the request form whether you will require volunteers to go on field

research/work away from their work stations.6) Please be informed that in terms of the location of the volunteer po stings, the volunteers

should have access to public transportation and shops (i.e. grocery stores).7) With regards to qualifications of volunteers with technical requirements, the Japanese

education system gives specific technical expertise certification/degrees. High priority isalso given to work experience.

8) Kindly answer all the questions on the request form and please sign it in the end.
