Typical applications:
Rolling mills with medium production
rates (70 - 100 t/h), where few starting
billets are required, as, for example, in
special alloys mill for medium/large
rounds & squares.

3D fully coupled thermo-mechanical and microstructural FE models of the forging
has been developed in FE commercial code MARC.
Microstructural evolution of Austenite has been calculated on each integration
point.

3D coupled thermo-mechanical FE models of the roughing and finishing passes of
SZMF and OCAS rolling have been carried out in FE commercial code ABAQUS
and MARC.
