DIRECTION
Direction
1. We direct Ergon and its board to pay a dividend in respectof the 2014-15 financial year, comprising:
(a) 100 per cent of Ergon’s profits for the 2014-15 financialyear, after provision has been made for income tax or itsequivalent; and
(b) the lesser of:
(i) $1,229,000,000; or
(ii) an amount that, when paid, means that Ergon’sGearing Ratio equals 70 per cent.
2. In respect of the dividend payable pursuant to paragraph 1(b),we direct Ergon and its board to allocate the dividend:
(a) against Ergon’s retained earnings as at 30 June 2015to the extent available; and
(b) after the allocation against Ergon’s retained earningspursuant to paragraph 2(a), the balance (if any) of thedividend against Ergon’s revaluation reserve as at30 June 2015.
3. We further direct Ergon and its board to:
(a) take all action necessary, incidental or consequentialto give effect to this direction; and
(b) where there is an ambiguity or doubt about the meaningor intent of this direction, give effect to the interpretationof the matter by the Under Treasurer as advised to themin a written clarifying statement of the Under Treasurer.

4. In this direction:
(a) ‘Ergon’ means Ergon Energy Corporation Limited(ACN 087 646 062);
(b) ‘Gearing Ratio’ means the ratio of Net Debt owed toQueensland Treasury Corporation to the RegulatedAsset Base;
(c) ‘Net Debt’ means the debt owed to Queensland TreasuryCorporation less any cash balances held by Ergon;
(d) ‘Regulated Asset Base’ means the regulated asset base asstated in the Preliminary Decision on the Ergon Distributiondetermination 2015-2016 to 2019-20 released by theAustralian Energy Regulator on 30 April 2015; and
(e) ‘Under Treasurer’ means the chief executive of thedepartment responsible for administering the GovernmentOwned Corporations Act 1993 and includes any personacting in this office from time to time.

NOTIFICATION OF SCHOOL COUNCILS APPROVED UNDER THE EDUCATION (GENERAL PROVISIONS) ACT 2006
The following school council was established and approved on17 July 2015 by the Principal, Norman Park State School (asdelegate of the Chief Executive, Department of Education andTraining to approve school councils) under the Education (GeneralProvisions) Act 2006 to take effect from the date of gazettal.

INVITATION FOR OBJECTIONS TO THE PROPOSAL
The Scenic Rim Regional Council has advised that its electoraldivisions no longer meet the quota requirements set down in theLocal Government Act 2009 (Act). The Minister responsible forLocal Government has in turn referred the matter to the LocalGovernment Change Commission for an independent assessment.
The Commission now invites written objections from interestedpersons and bodies’ relating to the council’s proposed six electoraldivisions, to be lodged on or before 5.00pm Friday 14 August 2015.
For this phase of the review, the enrolment for Scenic Rim RegionalCouncil as at 23 February 2015 is being used. The total enrolmentwas 26,541. The Commission has determined that 4,424 is thereasonable proportion of electors for an electoral division.Section 17 of the Act requires the Commission to ensure that thenumber of enrolled electors in all divisions does not differ from thisreasonable proportion by ±10%. In order to meet the enrolmentcriteria set out in the Act, the number of electors in each divisionmust be within the minimum of 3,981 and the maximum of 4,866.Furthermore, the Act requires that the reasonable proportion ofelectors must be worked out as near as practicable to the timewhen the change is to happen to ensure demographicrepresentation for each division of Scenic Rim Regional Council.Projected enrolment for March 2016 and February 2019 has beenused to assist with this requirement.

Section 17 of the Act requires the Commission to ensurethat the number of enrolled electors in all divisions does not differfrom this reasonable proportion by ±10%. In order to meet theenrolment criteria set out in the Act, the number of electors in eachdivision must be within the minimum of 17,611 and the maximumof 21,525. Furthermore, the Act requires that the reasonableproportion of electors must be worked out as near as practicableto the time when the change is to happen to ensure demographicrepresentation for each division of Sunshine Coast RegionalCouncil. Projected enrolment for March 2016 and February 2019has been used to assist with this requirement.
