The forest reinforce my trailer by being the perfect setting for a murder stalking its victim which is a stereotypical location for a murder in TV soaps with its creepy surrounds. There in no one else around and no one can hear her scream, this will create deep emotion and suspension for the audience

The alley way reinforces my trailer by being the perfect place for Bella to get her own back as there is no one else around. The lighting is dark on the half where Sambuca and Bella this suggest to the audience that something is going to happen.

The road scene where Bella is being walked to work by Archie reinforces my trailer by showing that it is a posh countryside location with all the trees and land

How does the locations reinforce your trailer?

This location shot from around the corner from where Archie walked Bella to work so it all flowed rather than jumping to a different location. The large sign points to Bella and the Hilltop Farm sign points to Sambuca showing to the audience that he is indecisive

By the costumes fitting the role of each character to make it clear to the audience just by just looking at what they are wearing and there costumes fit in with the storylines

The fact the characters have changed customs shows to the audience that it isn't the same day from where Bella found out her boyfriend is cheating on her

Even though they are separate days Sambuca is wearing red suggesting to the audience that she is evil like the devil.

Red can also suggest danger to the audience as the character is being watched by her every move her clothing shows she is in danger

The pyjamas shows to the audience that it is morning and it is stereotypical in TV soaps to have a morning scene where they do a pregnancy test.

The black stereotypical costume of a murder shows to the audience while he is stalking the girl from behind the tree that he is evil and creepy, showing the role of the character through just his costume

Bella is wearing a work outfit showing to the audience that is going to work by just looking at her. The white top suggests that she resembles an angel and sambuca wearing red resembles a devil.

Lounge 1 shows wealth as there is a large sofa with matching colours showing the glamour of the characters

The bedroom shows wealth as there is a double queen size double bed with matching bedside tables and lights either side, this shows to the audience that the couple in bed are wealthy .

The posh bathroom with marble flooring and all matching colours shows her wealth to the audience even though she is sat on the toilet with a positive pregnancy test the location still shows her status as wealthy

What messages does the location send to the audience about class and status?We chose are locations to show the wealth and status of are characters, Hilltop Farm is filmed in Alderley Edge which gives a posh status which was exactly what we wanted our trailer to be set

Lounge 2 looks glamorous and expensive, the fact we used 2 different lounge locations makes it look like both scenes were set in a different house.

This location was chosen as it has the "Hilltop Farm” sign in the background branding the trailer and also showing wealth about the fact it is a posh location with a farm.

The message that the costumes of the characters send to the audience is that they are wealthy, posh, and have a high class status

Archie's costume is branded with expensive fashion labels showing his wealth , as he has a Ralph Lauren hooded top on and a Gucci belt stating to the audience his status

Sambuca even though she is on a toilet finding out she is pregnant still shows her wealth by the 3 silver bracelets she is wearing

Sambucas pearl earrings state her wealth to the audience.

Bella is in her work uniform, even though Bella appears wealthy unlike Archie and Sambuca she works for her money herself and builds her own high class status.

Bella's dress appears expensive and looks glamorous this shows her wealth

Sambucas prop is a channel handbag to state her wealth to the audience as well she is texting on a phone showing her status and that she can buy most things

The murderers victim is again on another phone showing her wealth and showing to the audience the class of “Hilltop Farm”

Archie uses an Iphone to receive the text from sambuca, This is only the second scene and the audience can see the wealth of these characters

What message of the props send to the audience about there class and status?

The Props that the characters have or are using show the wealth and that they can afford anything they want.

The car also shows Archie's status and wealth, as he wouldn't have to work for that car he would of been given it by his parents

This is what the location looked like before and we had to change it in order for it to look mature as the couple are living together

The “Love” at the top of the bed shows the audience that they are a couple

The bedside table in where there is a ECU shot of the phone receiving a text off Sambuca. It had to be cleared as it would distract the audiences eyes away from what the text is saying.

Lounge 2 we just removed the red blanket as we wanted dull colours to be in the scene and nothing that will draw the audiences concentration away.

In these locations we had to change the appearance as they could effect the genre and not make the narrative clear the audience
