Q2. How Effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary text ?

Page 2: Question 2

During the process of making our front cover we took into consideration what we wanted , which was a easy to read and cheap/ cheerful look

We chose the colours carefully due to it setting the colour scheme throughout the magazine , the colours we chose stood out from each other making it easy to reed and look fun and professional at the same time

The magazine was aimed at people in the age bracket of 16 – 24 due to our institution we were following being E4 which is the same age bracket as them

As you can see we have chosen a medium close up of a main character who is making direct eye contact with the audience drawing them in

Page 3: Question 2

As you can see this is the magazine we were basing our front cover on, the reason being is because we liked the simple lay out and big cover star on the front

Page 4: Question 2

What I am showing here is the Header of the front cover , we liked how the colours stood out and the text was informing

This Text is located just below the main Title , it says “Week” implying it is weekly and quick and easy , we chose “Now” which conveys the same message

Page 5: Question 2

Here is the main feature which is located nearer the bottom of the page , both ours and Satellites front cover have it in large text clear to see so people can easily see the main feature

We used other Students Projects to star as an extra feature on our front cover, we also used 2 different shapes the same as our inspired magazine
