ResearchWhen planning for my media production I did allot research planning to know what my audiences wanted in my local newspaper. The first task we had to do was a newspaper and website annotation which we had to look at what features the newspapers and websites had to help us with our media products.

I used power point to do my annotation of the newspaper and posted it on wordpress, this website was useful as it was the blog I posted all my research planning onto it. The website ‘WordPress’ is a blog website which adds many multi-media technologies on there such as slide share, vimeo video and more. Every research we did was posted on the blog as tasks were due and asked to be presented on our blog for our teacher to see. Another use was having the teachers blog to help us as it guided us and let us know what to do. The blogs were very useful in the planning area as it helped us present our work online. At the beginning the blog was some sort tricky as it was hard to get use to but over time we learned how to use it which was helpful as we developed our media skills with online technologies.

Another media technology I used was slide share which allowed me to add my power point presentations on there, this area helped me with my media technologies as it helped me to be more technologically diverse when presenting my pre-production work, this helped me with my research planning as it presented it in a better light.

I also did a newspaper proposal to know what my audience wanted for research and this proposal was from the results of my questionnaire, this also stated what my newspaper will feature and the main story and how much the price is set. Also the proposal was added onto my blog site. This helped with research and planning as it helped know what my audience want and what I was going to do and was a good guideline. The technologies I used was power point in this as it helped present it well.

I did a mock up of my newspaper and other media products as it helped me know where I was going. Along with the newspaper proposal. I used page plus to make the mock up which helped me allot.

Page plus was a program I found quite difficult using but it was very helpful at the same time as I got used to it very quickly.

I also made my media products using page plus which was helpful as working on it improved my skills very well.

I used page plus to create my front page, inside page and my poster. The website was very effective as it helped me make my media productions and also helped me develop my skills, throw the prink screen shots you can see my media work has progressed and changed over many times as the more I got used to it the easier it became. This technology was very easy to use and helped me allot and became very effective

Serif web plus was another program I used to create my website page. This was also effective as it allowed me to make my website any size as I wanted it to have a long length and was very useful when producing my website. I used this program in the construction of my media website newspaper page which was hard at first as it was hard at getting used too. This helped me allot as my product didn’t take long to make and I used it very well in the process.
