How did you attract/address your audience?

Front Cover:“Press Play”- used big bold letters which makes it relatively easy for readers to read. The use of the play button and song stream attracts the audience as it looks creative and unique.

The use of the “+” sign suggests that there is more to come within the magazine which will of course draw readers in as they would want more from the magazine.

Image: as the model seems to be directly looking at the camera suggests eye-contact with the readers which would draw readers to my the magazine.

Use of rhetorical question would attract the audience as it would make them question and therefore buy the magazine.

The use of the word “Exclusive” would attract readers as it would make them feel special if they purchase the magazine.

Pull-quote: would attract audience as it is would influence them buying and reading the exclusive interview inside.

Use of well-known artists would attract audience as they would be interested in features inside about them.

Contents Page:The use of the block capitals draws in the readers as it is dominant in the page. Also, the text throughout the page is also block capitals which will consistently keep the readers interested.

In the image, the model seems to be looking in the direction of the text which will draw readers to look in that direction.

In order to attract the audience, I placed a section for songs that are currently in the charts. This will attract readers as my target audience will be interested in who made it to the charts.

The fact that I separated the content of my magazine makes it easier for readers to read which will attract them as it is not complicated for the audience.

Double Page Spread:The bold capital letters conforms to a real media magazine and this is done to attract the audience.

I decided to layout my article as a Q&A which will make it easy for readers to read. Also I lay my article in 3 different columns which again makes it easier for readers as it would seem that they are no reading a lot. This is appropriate for my target audience as they are young.

The photomontage of the images will draw readers as it is unique and different. Also the fact that the model seems to be in different locations and is looking in direct directions making it more interesting.

The large speech marks shows that there is a quotation from the article which will draw readers in.
