Introduction of Shey bhumi • The property is set at the centre of a 6 acre seabuckthorn orchard.

• The famous THIKSEY MONASTERY forms the backdrop of the estate.

It is set in the village of CHUCHOT GONGMA , which organised Ladakh Polo festival in 2016

The property is in very close vicinity of INDUS RIVER … picnic lunches

or breakfasts/tea can be organised on the riverside.

Each room is hand painted by ladakhi lamas with traditional Tibetan motifs. Even the furniture is painted by Lamas.

The main restaurant / dining area is a 150 year old restored ladakhi house.

Quaint, traditional structure steeped in Ladakhi heritage.

• It is set in the village of CHUCHOT GONGMA , which, as a collective village ( chuchot shama , chuchot yakma and chuchot gongma ) it’s one of the biggest village of the Himalayas , stretching almost 42 kms. It should be considerable anthropological interest to many global travellers.

Introduction to Munsiyari

• Munsiyari is a “little Kashmir” nestled in the beauteous terrains of the Kumaon mountains. A little hamlet, which is the last connect with civilization before the discerning mountain lover turns toward the majestic Panchachuli peaks. Munsyari is so close to the snow capped peaks, one could almost touch them.

• The jewel of Munsiyari is the magnificent Panchachuli - the five snow capped Himalayan peaks ranging from 20,780 feet to 22,650 feet above sea level.

• Munsiyari's proximity to the great Himalayan range makes it an ideal base for treks and climbs. For serious trekkers there is the Milam glacier and the Nanda Devi base camp, but for tourists looking for less arduous summits, there is the Khaliya top, easily Munsiyari's favourite trek. Just 10 kms away, perched at a lofty 11,500 feet, Khaliya is a pristine Alpine meadow facing incredible views of the Nandadevi and Nandakot peaks. It's a moderate one day trek from the Himalayan Glamping retreat and a must do for every visitor.
