Quick reference guide – Deloitte users What is Deloitte Connect? Log in: https://deloitteconnect.deloitte.com Deloitte Connect is an online collaboration site that facilitates a two-way dialogue between the Deloitte team and client to effectively manage engagement coordination. With drill-down status dashboards and system-generated email alerts, Deloitte Connect streamlines information requests and provides greater visibility to status progress – providing a transparent, informative, and seamless experience. Getting started Logging in To log in to the system, navigate to https://deloitteconnect.deloitte.com. Select “Log In”, and you will be routed to your region’s Deloitte Connect homepage. You can also log in using your Deloitte credentials if you are not connected to VPN/the Deloitte Network. Add Deloitte and client team members. You canadd individuals or bulk add members via “Upload Deloitte/Clients contacts list.”

Enter each Deloitte team member’s name and select the reporting structure, role, and emailfrequency.

Enter each client team member’s name and e-mail address, and then select the role and email frequency.

Click “Add.” Added Deloitte and client team members will show below.

a. Navigate to your primary geographic region.

b. Click “Create a new project” from the Home page/Projects page.

Note: Mandatory fields are marked by an asterisk.

It is recommended to add requests and tasks prior to project approval.

Click “Submit For Approval” to send project for approval.Once approved, a Welcome email and status emails will be sent on the selected frequency to Deloitte and Client users.

Enter project and client details. Select the Country of Report Issuance relevant for the project; once saved this field cannot be changed.

Note: WBS field is mandatory for US projects only.

3. Engagement team creates request list and client receives notification of new requests

Select a project on the “Projects” page in the desired region.

The Project Approver (recommended to be a Senior Manager or PPMD) makes approval decisions for each new project (Approve, Reject, Requires Revision), and an e-mail notification is sent to the Deloitte team. If changes are necessary, the Deloitte team addresses revisions and resubmits for approval.

4. Client uploads documents to assigned requests

Client uploads documents individually or in bulk. Alerts are generated or email notifications are sent to the relevant project team members to inform them of a change in status.

Expand the “Requests” section by clicking the down arrow on the right-side of the screen.

3.1 Upload using an Excel spreadsheet:

a) Click “Download template”b) Fill out template with

applicable informationc) Save file and upload file by

clicking “Upload List”d) Make modifications and, if

necessary, assign secure access to requests

e) Click “Add to Request List”

Click “Create Request” to view request(s) creation options.

Create request(s) using one of three options.

3.2 Create using a standard request list:

a) Click “Standard Requests list”

b) Select audit area and request(s)

c) Assign due date and contacts to request(s)

d) Click “Add to Request List”

3.3 Create using individual requests:

a) Click “Create Request”b) Populate all mandatory

information marked by an asterisk and enter contacts

c) If applicable, select “Restrict access” to assign secure access to a request

d) Click “Add request”

5. Deloitte team reviews uploaded documents and accepts or requests resubmissions

Select requests by clicking on the check box to take any necessary actions.

Click the pencil icon or “Set Status” to update status. Set status and click “Save.”

Note: To request revision, change status to “Resubmission Requested,” click “Save,” and add comment(s) if necessary.

6. Client and Deloitte team monitor status of project and requests

a. Use the Overview section to monitor the progress of requests and tasks.

b. The Requests Status view can be used to monitor the overall status of requests.

c. The Tasks Status view can be used to monitor the overall status of tasks.

Click “Create Task” to view task(s) creation options.Create tasks(s) using one of the two options: Upload using an Excel spreadsheet or create an individual task.

Enter the task description and due date, and assign the task to a Deloitte team member or client. Click “Add Task.” Tasks assigned to Deloitte professionals will not be seen by clients.

To update status, first select the items and then click “Set Status.” The “Status” column will become editable and you can choose the appropriate status. Then click “Save.”

Drag & drop your files directly onto the page, or browse for files using File Explorer.

Designate files as containing Protected Health Information (PHI*) where appropriate by clicking on the shield icon. This will secure the document so that it may only be downloaded by the assigned individuals and those with Deloitte and Client Coordinator rights.

Files you upload to this section will be visible to client and Deloitte users.

11. View Project and Individual Calendars

Click the “Calendar” tab.

Click the calendar item for detailed information on the item listing.

Toggle between “Project View” and “My View” to view project related and individual calendar entries.

Add a new Milestone to the calendar by clicking “Create Milestone”. Milestones can be marked as “Deloitte Team Only.”

Click “Export List” to export a list of project milestones.

12. Managing your alerts

a. View all alerts for requests and tasks assigned to you or for the project. b. Filter alerts by category.

Follow a high priority request or task by selecting the “Following” icon next to the desired item. You will receive alerts on followed items.

Upon conclusion of the project, navigate to the Edit Project screen and initiate Project Wrap-Up.

Review each projectsection and deselect any items or files you wish to retain and roll forward for the next audit period. Tasks are excluded from roll forward.

3Click “Submit For Approval” for the Project Approver to review.

The Project Approvernavigates to Edit Project,chooses Project Wrap-Up,and selects the optionthat corresponds with the approval decision.

Once wrap-up is approved, all milestones, requests, and files indicated will be deleted from the system. Additionally, all comments, alerts, andtasks will be deletedautomatically. Wrap-up may take a period of time to complete and will display on the Home page when ready.

a. Navigate to the “Projects” home page for the desired region and select desired projects.b. Select “Create Multi-Project view.”

Multi-Project View will display consolidated selected projects. Click on the drop down arrow to select a specific project to take action. Export requests and tasks as needed.

15. Project Rollforward

Click “Done” to complete the Rollforward. Note that after the project is rolled forward, it mustbe submitted for approval prior to use bythe team.
