IntroductionThankyouforbuyingiSensesoftwarefromMETTLERTOLEDO.
iSensesoftwareallowsyoutofullyleverageIntelligentSensorManagement(ISM)technologyintheworkshopandforplantmanagement.WithiSenseitisnotonlyimportanttaskssuchascalibrationandmaintenancethataresimplifiedandbecomemorereliable;iSensealsosup-portsadvancedsensordiagnostics,anddocumentationofallISMsensoractivities.
ThesefeaturesmakeiSensetheperfecttoolforISMsensorstoincreaseprocessanalyticsreliability.
Important notesiSenseisself-explanatorysoftwarethatsupportsandsimplifiesallmaintenanceandcalibra-tionproceduresforpH,oxygenandCO2ISMsensors.Withitsanimatedandeasytounder-standprocedures,onlyaminimumleveloftrainingisrequiredforitsoperation.ItshouldbeeasilyusableforanyonethatisfamiliarwithprocessanalyticalinstrumentsforpH,oxygenandCO2measurement.
Nevertheless,aproperunderstandingofthesensorsandallrelatedtasksismandatory.Pleaserefertotherespectivesensormanualsfordetailedinformation.
Itisessentialthatpersonnelinvolvedinthecommissioning,operationormaintenanceofthesesensors,orofanyassociatedequipment,areproperlytrainedinallrelevantprocessesaswellasintheuseandhandlingoftheassociatedequipment.Thisincludeshavingreadandunderstoodallinstructionmanualsforthesensorsandaccessories.

DuringinstallationofiSense2.0,allolderversionsofiSensewillbedeletedautomatically.Thisisnecessarybecauseofconflictswithdrivers.Accessthe“BackupandRestore”sub-menu,choosethedirectoryunderwhichyourstoreddatabaseislocated,andimportit.

Youcanskipthisstepandentertheinformationatanytimeinthe“Settings“menu.

Logout: Youcanlogin/logouttheuser.Theusersandtheirrightscanbedefinedinthe “Settings“menu.Thelogged-inuser’snameisindicated. ThedeafultpasswordforADMINloginis“1989”.

Connecting a sensorConnecttheiLinkcabletothecomputerorusetheiLinkBluetooth(BT)adapter.
TheiLinkcableisautomaticallyrecognized.
IfyouareusinganolderiLinkcableitmightbenecessarytoupdatetheiLinkfirmware. Pleasefollowtheinstructionsunder“Settings/SoftwareandDeviceupdate“.
IfyouareusinganiLinkBT,pleasegotothemenu“Settings/BluetoothDevices“firstandchoosethecorrectBluetoothadapter.
