Randomly add a pop of color for added interest! MAKING THE BACKING 1 Randomly select five 13½" x 17½" rectangles and sew them together along the long edges. Add a 7" x 17½" rectangle to each end of the row to make row A. Repeat to make a total of three A rows. Press the seam allowances open. 2 Randomly select six 13½" x 17½" rectangles and sew them together along the long edges to make row B. Repeat to make a total of three rows. Press the seam allowances open. 3 Join the rows, alternating the A and B rows. Press the seam allowances open.
