Choosing a photographer can be a daunting

task... I have been taking professional portraits

since 2000 for a wide variety of clients. I

specialize in photographing childhood from

birth to that pivotal senior year and those

fleeting moments in between. I love to

photograph you in real, meaningful settings

that convey who you are and what you love. I that convey who you are and what you love. I

end result being beautifully crafted products to

be treasured for many years to come.

Consultation

Every session begins with an initial in-person cconsultation so we can get to know one another. Your place, ours, or somewhere in-between - we love to meet over a cup of tea or coffee and learn more about you and your family, your goals for the portrait session, and ideas for decorating your home. We also encourage clients to use this time for questions and ideas; and we love to show you our beautiful pour beautiful print products in-person to give you a feel for the nal outcome of your session.

PortraitSession

On the day of your session, we'll meet at the agreed location and time and the fun begins! A portrait session can take anywhere from 1-2 hours. There's really no rush - or general time limit - just what feels natural. It generally takes at least 20 minutes for us to "warm up" together, meaning getting comfortable and feeling relaxed in front of

the lenthe lens. After that, it's really up to the photographed subject as to how long the session will last. This is the fun part - let us do the work!

Reveal Session

The photos have been taken, individually retouched with great love and care, and now it's time for you to see the end result of all our hard work and planning! We'll bring over all the viewing equipment and set up shop in front of your favorite comfy couch or dining table and go

through each image with you individually. At this point in time, you'll have the opportunity to choose the photo-ggraphs you would like to have as prints, albums, canvas, or a variety of other handcrafted photo products we offer. We'll bring over a pricing guide and make recom-mendations for photo products we think would enhance your living space! This is your time to ask questions, place

orders, and get excited about your images.

Think layers, patterns and textures as they add a visual interest to your photos. Mix light weight materials with some tweed, lace, ruffles, etc. Follow your vision and style .

Add Layers & Textures

Add colors and interest and try to think outside the box.Scarves, bows, flowers in the hair, jewelry - all these things can add that extra punch to your outfit. Be careful though as not to over accesorize. Personality first.

Accesorize

Try to coordinate without matching exactly. Start with a basic color palette and go from there. Use a couple of colors in the first outfit and then add neutral color and add a few color pops to coordinate between the subjects. Most of all wear clothes you feel comfortable in.

Coordinate & Compliment

Good choices in your outfit are the key element to great photos.The most important thing is that clothing should be simple and timeless.

If this is your family's first time working with a professional photographer, it can be difficult to know what to expect. What should I bring? One half of the session fee is due at booking as a

Retainer Fee. The remainder of the session fee is

A newborn session is primarly focused on the baby. Of course photos of the baby with mom, dad, or the siblings may also be taken during the session.Newborns are best photographed under 2 weeks of age. More information on newborn sessions can be found in our Newborn magazine. Maternity sessions are available available with the purchase of a newborn session.
