Subject:-Relaxation in Uniform specifications of wheat for Rabi Marketing Season2015-16 in Rajasthan.

Sir,

I am directed to refer your Letter. No. F33(1)ID" fct/ 'WcRrr/ .3fTr Qd1 ~/2014-15dated 26.3.2015 seeking relaxation in specifications of wheat for Rabi Marketing Season2015-2016 due to unseasonal rainfall in Rajasthan.

2. In order to reduce the hardship of farmers and to avoid distress sale of wheat, it hasbeen decided to procure wheat in Rajasthan with the foIIowing relaxations in the uniformspecifications of wheat during the Rabi Marketing Season 2015-16 with immediate effect:

(i) The limit of shrivelled & broken grains is relaxed upto 9% against the existing limitof 6% under uniform specifications with half value cut.

(ii) Lustre lost wheat containing up to 10% affected kernels may be purchased withoutany value cut.

(iii)Lustre lost wheat containing more than 10% and up to 50% affected kernels may bepurchased with 1I4th of one full value cut on flat basis.

3. Wheat so procured shall be stacked and accounted for separately.4. Wheat stocks procured under relaxed specifications wiII be issued on over-ridingpriority irrespective of FIFO principle and wiII be consumed with in the State of Rajasthanfor TPDS and other welfare schemes only.
