The uniform policy has now been updated to include the new girl’s summer dress. The dress is available for purchase at Lowes in Griffith. (The dress is the same uniform as Griffith East Public School). Please ask for the ‘newest stock’ when purchasing from Lowes Griffith. The changeover process allows either summer dress to be worn (old or new dress). We hope that the new
dress will be fully implemented by Term 4, 2020. Girls are to wear the summer dress with blue socks, black shoes and school hat.
What’s happening Thank you A very special thankyou to the few people that helped set up for our Round Robin day - Brett Anderson, George Papatodori, Heidi Papatodori, Katie Luelf and Jeanne Parslow. Without your help the seting up would have gone well into the night hours, so thank you for your time and effort. Thank you also to the P&C volunteers for running the canteen at Round Robin.
End of Term 3 Assembly There will be an end of term assembly at 2:30pm on Friday 28th September to celebrate the achievements of students in Term 3. Everyone welcome.
Primary School Excursion Students from our school will soon be undertaking an education tour of the national capital. Students will be given the opportunity to participate in a variety of educational programs with a focus on Australia’s history, culture, heritage and democracy. The Australian Government recognises the importance of all young Australians being able to visit the national capital as part of their Civics and Citizenship education. To assist families in meeting the cost of the excursion the Australian Government is contributing funding of $20 per student under the Parliament and Civics Education Rebate program towards those costs. The rebate is paid directly to the school upon completion of the excursion. A final permission note and information for the excursion will be given to students by the end of the week. We welcome parents to make another payment of $50 by this Thursday.
