Awareness of what is going on with your children (feel free to invade their social sites, phones or email)

Results of Social Media at school-fights,(Like wild dogs gathering to watch, needless involvement), attacking the young females reputation, carving them like a Christmas ham, “destroying a little at a time”,(LEADING HER TO SELF DESTRUCTION)

Changes and Effects of Your Child Involved in Gang life

Stealing (from mostly family and friends), Drug use, detachment from family

Getting in- (prospect) beat in 2-3 minutes, criminal activity, demoralizing one self (sexed in), taking the oath to die for one another.

Getting Out- Beat out, or more often removal of protection from your gang, turning their back on you with no protection and sending information to other gangs that you’re the rat. They send their dogs on you. It can endanger your entire family and ultimately cost you your life.

Page 18: R.A.P. Session 2013

SUM it UP!!!!

COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR CHILDREN!!! TALK WITH YOUR CHILDREN!!! BE APPROACHABLE!!! HAVE A PLAN!!! Not if but when mistakes happen. If they make a mistake handle it with care and be vigilant. Have code words and allow it to be used ( I have a stomach ache) if

they are in a bad situation. Go and pick them up. Explain to your children, “I would rather come get you, no matter

what age you become than identify you in a morgue!” If you become impaired of any substance, CALL ME.

Talk about it the next day. Good judgment was used don’t discourage it by breaking the rules set in the agreement. Unless they want to talk leave it alone until the next day….

When you talk to them the next day, express long term effects of their actions.
