Our Mission is to provide an extensive and varied recreational program, enhancing personal enrichment, and providing for the community’s leisure needs. The activities and services shall include, but not be limited to: recreational and enrichment activities for all ages, youth and adult sports programs and activities for special populations. In the furtherance of this mission, RARA is faced, more frequently as time passes, with the need for additional funds for assistance with enhancement, maintenance and operations of RARA facilities and programs. In a time of shrinking public dollars, RARA seeks outside funding through sponsorships in order to maintain valuable and important programs and facilities, as we continue to provide thousands of programs each year to over two hundred thousand area residents. RARA has designed a sponsorship program that will enhance the ability to deliver recreation services as long as the services and products of those businesses are consistent with and appropriate to RARA’s mission and lines of business.

Our sponorship opportunities include:• Naming Rights - Field House 10000SF2

• Naming Rights - Dance Studio 6200SF2

• Legacy Rights - Dance Rooms 1, 2, 3, & 4 1200SF2

• Sponsorships - Sports, Programs, Special Events

If you are interested in helping us create lifelong memories for our community and would like a sponsorship packet please contact:

Full Impact Theater offers its annual summer Shakespeare-in-the-Park production with Much Ado About Nothing. Teens are invited to participate. FIT distinguishes itself from other theater groups by educating its members in all aspects of theater and using the play as its vehicle for education. We at Full Impact Theater believe that training in the theater arts is an invaluable advantage in today’s world. Through the integrated arts discipline of theater performance, teens will develop self-confidence, personal-expression skills, integrity, a sense of responsibility, problem-solving and time-management skills. Full Impact Theater guarantees each registered and eligible member a role. (Our cast is capped with a maximum number, so register early!). Our Shakespeare-in-the-Park auditions, orientation, rehearsals, and performances will all take place outdoors in Rochester Municipal Park, at the Bebout Band Shell, rain or shine. Judo—the Gentle Way

Aikido is a Japanese martial art developed by Morihei Ueshiba often referred to by his title ‘O Sensei’ or ‘Great Teacher’. On a purely physical level it is an art involving throws, joint locks and other techniques that are derived from Jujitsu and throws derived from Kenjutsu. Aikido focuses not on punching or kicking opponents, but rather on using their own energy to gain control of them or to throw them away from you. It is not a static art, but places great emphasis on motion and the dynamics of movement. In Japan, a nation of many martial arts, Aikido is the one chosen for instruction to the elite Tokyo Metropolitan Riot Police and Secret Police. Location: Michigan Aikido Academy 933 E. Auburn Rd Rochester Hills 48307 Fee: $258 for 8 weeks. Includes cross training in BJJ, unlimited classes.

It promotes the principle that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend himself against a bigger, stronger assailant by using leverage and proper technique — most notably by applying joint-locks and chokeholds to defeat the other person. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu can be used for sport grappling tournaments and mixed martial arts (MMA) competition or as self-defense. Sparring and live drilling play a major role in training and a premium is placed on performance, especially in competition. Location: Michigan Aikido Academy 933 E. Auburn Rd Rochester Hills 48307 Fee: $258 for 8 weeks. Includes cross training in Aikido, unlimited classes.
