Sunshine BlockRefer to quilt photo for placement of sunshine template pieces. Sew the sides of the template pieces together to create the sunshine. Lay right side of sunshine on top of interfacing. Stitch ¼” around the outside edge, pivoting at the seams and points. Trim seam allowance and turn right side out. Smooth out the edges and press. Center sunshine on the snow white shade 20½” square and appliqué the sunshine and center circle using your favorite method.

Quilt Center AssemblyRefer to quilt photo for placement of block.

BordersSeam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew border strips together end to end if necessary to get the length needed. Sew side borders first.

Border 1Side borders should be 20½”. Top and bottom borders should be 22½”.

Border 2Side borders should be 22½”. Top and bottom borders should be 26½”.

Border 3Side borders should be 26½”. Top and bottom borders should be 38½”.

Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back. Bind with your favorite Riley Blake fabric from the Hello Sunshine Collection. Have fun with your colors and enjoy the journey of making your quilt.
