    CUTTING REQUIREMENTSPlease read instructions first before cutting. Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces.

    Tea and Crumpets BlockCut squares 2½” x 2½” in the corresponding number from the following assorted prints: 16–blue damask, 16–gray damask, 16–blue floral 16–blue wallpaper, 16–cream wallpaper, 8–red wallpaper 16–multi ric rac, 24–gray dots, 16–red dots, 16–yellow dots 100–clean white solidCut 80 rectangles 2½” x 6½” from clean white solid

    Border 1Cut 5 strips 2½” x WOF from multi ric rac

    Border 2Cut 6 strips 6½” x WOF from blue main

    QUILT ASSEMBLYRefer to quilt photo for placement of fabrics.

    Tea and Crumpets BlockThese instructions are to make 1 block. Refer to the quilt photo for fabric placement. Sew 4 assorted print 2½” squares and 5 clean white solid 2½” squares together to create the Nine-Patch Center.

    Sew an assorted print 2½” square to a clean white solid 2½” x 6½” rectangle to create Unit A. Repeat to create 4 Unit A’s.

    Sew a Unit A to the right side of the Nine-Patch Center, only sewing about halfway up the right side. Sew a Unit A to the bottom, sewing all the way across the bottom. Sew a Unit A to the left side, sewing all the way down the left side. Sew a Unit A to the top, sewing all the way across the top. Go back and sew Unit A the rest of the way down the right side to complete the Tea and Crumpets Block. Repeat to make 20 Tea and Crumpet Blocks.

    Quilt Center AssemblyRefer to quilt photo for placement of blocks. Lay out Tea and Crumpet Blocks in 5 rows of 4 blocks. Sew rows together to complete the center of the quilt.

    BordersSeam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew border strips together end to end if necessary to get the length needed. Sew side borders first.

    Border 1Side borders should be 50½”. Top and bottom borders should be 44½”.

    Border 2Side borders should be 54½”. Top and bottom borders should be 56½”.

    Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back. Bind with your favorite Riley Blake fabric from the Kensington Collection. Have fun colors and enjoy the journey of making your quilt.
