CUTTING REQUIREMENTSPlease read instructions first before cutting. Seam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces.

Center SquaresCut 1 square 9½” x 9½” from each of the following prints: blue main, pink main, white main green damask, pink damask, yellow damask blue floral, green floral, pink floral green sprout, pink sprout, blue dots

Corner and Setting TrianglesCut 2 squares 8” x 8” from pink medallion. Cut each square once diagonally to create 4 corner triangles.Cut 4 squares 14½” x 14½” from pink medallion. Cut each square twice diagonally to create 16 setting triangles (2 will not be used).

Border 1Cut 6 strips 2½” x WOF from white stripe

Border 2Cut 7 strips 6½” x WOF from blue main

QUILT ASSEMBLYRefer to the quilt photo for placement of fabrics.

Whimsy BlockSew a 2” blue medallion strip and a 2” clean white solid strip together. Press. Repeat with remaining blue medallion strips and clean white solid strips. Cut the strips into 2” segments. Sew the segments together to create 80 Four-Patch Units.

Referring to quilt photo for placement of fabrics, sew together 4 Four-Patch Units, 1 blue medallion 3½” x 3½” square, and 4 clean white solid 3½” x 3½” squares to create the Whimsy Block. Repeat to make 20 Whimsy Blocks.

Quilt Center AssemblyRefer to the quilt photo for Whimsy Block, Center Square and Setting Triangle placement. Sew rows together on the diagonal to complete the center of the quilt. Add Corner Triangles. The Corner and Setting Triangles are intentionally cut larger in order to square up the quilt center, leaving ¼” seam allowance on all sides, before adding the borders.

BordersSeam allowances vary so measure through the center of the quilt before cutting border pieces. Sew side borders first.

Border 1Side borders should be 641/8”. Top and bottom borders should be 55½”.

Border 2Side borders should be 681/8”. Top and bottom borders should be 671/2”.

Finish quilt by layering the quilt top, batting, and back. Bind with your favorite Riley Blake fabric from the Bohemian Festival Collection. Have fun with your colors and enjoy the journey of making your quilt.
