The STN presents the STN-CLI prompt

STN SW: The file with the new software to be downloaded is a .tgz file
Tools : FTP server
STN software is upgraded in a software upgrading session, which includes downloading the software to Random-Access Memory (RAM), then activating it.The getSWSessionStatus command can be used anywhere in the procedure to find out the status and progress of the upgrade.
Commands:
startSWSession s1 downloadSW s1 sftp://lrw:[email protected]/pico_sw.tar.gz getSWSessionStatus s1
Note: “ //lrw:lrw123” is SW file path in FTP server in PC. The downtime is a few minutes.
activateSW s1 ! active new SW after node restart, check node stauts getSWSessionStatus s1 endSWSession s1 uselocalsftp off
Check upgrade result rev pboot set parameter FLASH_ACTIVE_AREA 2 !primary is new vision. pboot save parameters
Restart
6). Backup configuration file
Startsession s1 uselocalsftp on download s1 sftp://lrw:[email protected]/test20120310_CM.xml 30 getSessionStatus s1 uselocalsftp off
