    FRENCH CLUB MEETING RECAP-10/31/2012

    1. Fundraising

!Nick and I just wanted to thank everyone who helped outwith this past Fridays grilled cheese fundraiser! We had a really good time hanging outside Stokeand fraternizing with the inebriates! (I made up that word :D) This is something that we really want

to encourage all of you to become more involved in as the year goes on. I know I have been like askipping CD during meetings reminding you how important group participation and money raising

attempts are to our future plans. Notably, applying forSAFC (Student Activity Fees Committee)

to gain financial support for our big Qubec trip in the spring! Keep up the good work! Youguys have been great!

In todays meeting we talked about our next fundraiser: A BAKE SALE!

1.We will get the plans in the works during the next couple of weeks but really, this

fundraiser is pretty straightforward. We will reserve a table in the MUB and I just ask

that everyone contributes an item to sell and/or volunteers some time to work the table.

2.We also talked about the possibility of setting up a table and doing hot crepes and hot

cocoa outside the library one afternoon! I think we could make a good amount of moneyon this!

    2.Outing!

The next thing that we talked about was getting togetherforCREPERIE TRIP round 2!

We Have Scheduled the Next Trip for NextSunday!
