Coal Mining Opera(on Faces Three Influent-‐related Challenges
1

3 1. Frequent cleanup of sludge in
the underground water holding tank
2. Frequent clogging of the central pump
3. Surface sedimentation tank need to be warmed up to avoid freezing during winters
Key advantages of the ReCoMagMW system: • No secondary sedimentation tank, No filtration unit • No more sludge cleanup for the underground water holding tank • No more clogging of the underground pump • Operates automatically • Low capital and operation cost • Small footprint

ReCoMag ReMagDisc + Coagula0on + MagCarrier
ReCoMag is a technology that explores ferromagne(c micropar(cle carriers (aka MagCarrier) to render nonferromagne(c solids tractable to the rare-‐earth magnet-‐based separator, ReMagDisc .
The Principle of ReCoMag
(1) Condition wastewater by adding the MagCarrier (a)
(2) Co-precipitate solids and MagCarrier into flocs by adding coagulant (b) and flocculant (c) in a 3-min process, consequently rendering the solids susceptible to magnetic force
(3) The ReMagDisc Separator (d) continuously removes floating flocs

A Repertoire of ReCoMag Systems
SCIMEE offers a variety of rare-earth permanent magnet-based wastewater treatment systems that have been tailored for Oil and Gas Industry (ReCoMagOG), Resource Mining Industry (ReCoMagMW), Inland Water Bodies (ReCoMagHiSC), Municipal Sewage Treatment Facilities (ReCoMagHiSC) Emergent Water Treatment (ReCoMagMobile) and Research Institutions (ReCoMagLab).
The ReCoMagMW System is a Market-proven Underground Solution to Underground Influent
