The QCM is responsible for keeping and maintaining all records related to personnel, supplies, equipment use, and equipment calibration and sampling. His function will be to ensure compliance with the contract plans and specifications.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing and documenting field inspections. • Preparing daily Quality Control Reports. • Preparing weekly two week look ahead and submitted to client and monthly report for all activities. • Scheduling, reviewing, certifying, and managing project submittals. • Providing coordination of required quality control testing, reviewing results, and submitting. • Coordinating, documenting, and tracking preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections. • Training welder's according to ASME sec. Job Title: QC Engineer & Welding & PIPING Inspector. Perform Inspection as per Approved ITP. Project Procedure as per Client

Specification & Standards. Material Receiving Inspections as per P.O, MTC with Heat Numbers. Perform Piping Dimensional Inspection as per IFC. Prepare Surveillance Inspection Report, NCR that Violates the Codes & Project

Standards. Review / Prepare Piping Test Packages. Ensure satisfactory identification of materials, proper protection of piping and

fittings. Verify proper size and schedule of pipe, rating of flanges, proper flange face and fittings.

Witnessing of Re-in forced pad test and flush grinding of orifice flanges. Check flow direction arrows on valves; verify that the properly identified valves are

installed in accordance with the flow diagram. Ensure that pipe supports, hangers and guides have been installed in accordance

with the piping drawings and the pipe support details. Confirm the piping system concurs with flow diagrams to verify completeness of

system. Lines checking against drawing requirements to ensure completeness and accuracy

of the piping system as per the code and project standards. And to incorporate the punch list with category "A & B" items.

Verify initiation of field piping and equipment pressure test punch list. Ensure completion of cat "A" punch list items prior to Pressure test. Verify preparation of testing package including piping test record.

Check and assure that all joint are exposed for examination during pressure test. Ensure that isolation or disconnection of equipment not to be used. Check vents are open when filing and draining lines.

Verify that control valves and other items that were removed for the test are replaced. Check that water has been removed from check valves.

Verification of closed punch items and conduct walk through for each completed piping system prior to mechanical acceptance.

Painting and insulation inspections from surface to final visual inspection of the equipment’s and pipelines.

Responsible for modification of piping drawings such as revisions. Verification of test packages Witnessing of leak testing such as hydro test, pneumatic test, etc. Inspection of welding and piping in assigned area Line checking inspection t test packages and punch listing Witnessing flushing of test packages Re-instatement inspection of packages Listing and rectifying check of re-instatement punch list Witnessing of leak testing such as hydro test, pneumatic test, etc. Witnessed testing of pressure safety valves Make sure subcontractor observes safety procedure and job site activity regulations

and oblige them to eliminate dangerous situation. Check the correct installation of special pipe support and the use of correct type of

Follow up welder’s performance qualification according to ASMI IX & AWS D1.1. Perform inspection before welding (review fitting up of joints, welding electrodes,

dimension check according to isometric drawing, gas shielding and other variables according to WPS), during, and after welding.

Perform inspection activities on all welding activities in plant like (VT, RT, MT, and PT) & interpretation the films.

Ultrasonic thickness measurements for flow lines to make hot tapping and follow up welding for this hot tap.

Record all modification on master copy of drawing for the future use in the as-built drawing

Keep up date copies of all drawings related to work supervised and maintain, in separate file superseded copies.
