One of the sad scenes in jail, for me anyway, is a lady inmate who is pregnant. The overwhelming blessing of the coming of new life into her heart and her life is suddenly turned upside down! Jazz is twenty three, but she looks sixteen. And she’s pregnant. . . . . without a husband or a family to help support her. She’s a month or so before delivery and she’s terrified. I talked with her and I realized her life is in need of tremendous help. She needs Jesus, period. She had raised her hand at the end of the service and had prayed to Jesus to commit her life to Him. Suddenly her life is worth living again! Yes, she’s a young woman alone and without any support in this life. But now she has told the God of the universe she needs Him and wants to live her life for Him. And now she will soon have a baby and you may wonder what there is that you can do. Well, you and I can pray. You don’t know Jazz, but you do know God. Right now you could ask God to help this young lady in the fight of her life! Will you join me? From my heart, I thank you.
