Reflexión

El reto para nosotros en este Tercer Domingo de Adviento es: ver profundamente y creer en lo que vemos. Lo que descubriremos de-pende de la apertura de lo que vemos y escuchamos. En tiempo de Juan Bautista cuando las personas iban al desierto sabıan exactamente lo que encontrarıan ver y escuchar. A un profeta vestido con piel de camello llamando a la conversion. DEVOTION TO MARY (A Rose for Mary Ministry}

Blessed Virgin Mary Please Pray This Week Especially for:

Members of the Legion of Mary

Remember O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who !led to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this con!idence, I !ly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

The Rose often symbolizes Mary, the Queen of Heaven. In rela-

tion to the Blessed Mother it displays perfect love, form, fra-

grance, and color. For Mary the thorns on the rose remind us

that Our Lord Jesus Christ wore a crown of thorns and gave up

his blood for all humanity, as His Mother, Mary witnessed this

suffering and death !irst hand at the foot of the cross.

The Altar Society

Thank you! To all of my Church Family who have held me in prayer during surgeries and illness, sent cards, food, and visits. A special thank you to Monsignor Michael, Altar Society, and Jay Peeples.

Thank you all for your generosity and love. It is greatly appreciated.

God Bless,

Lydia Villasenor and Family
