A reflexive pronoun is used as theobject of a verb or preposition whenthe subject of the sentence and theobject are the same person.

emphasis.

Reflexive / Intensive Pronouns : the "self" pronouns
These pronouns can be used only toreflect or intensify a word already there.
Reflexive/intensive pronouns CANNOTREPLACE personal pronouns.

reflexive pronoun, reflecting the pronoun I.)
I’ll do it myself. (Myself is an intensive pronoun, intensifying the pronoun I.)
