Analysis of the existing situation
• State-of-practise• Inventory of case studies• Information to be used by the following work:
- Regions classification
- Framework of mobility schemes
- the definition of the DSI (Decision Support Instrument)
• Including: the main problems encountered, mobility management measures, intelligent/innovative mobility schemes, multimodal interfaces, local policies and strategies, organizational aspects, etc.
Analysis of the existing situation
• Information from 23 tourist areas with seasonal traffic peak profiles in 7 countries

• Lack of alternatives modes of transport• Lack of cooperation between existing modes of
transport• Lack of information regarding alternative modes
of transport and available routes• Unnecessary use of cars for short trips• Lack of bicycle and pedestrian lanes
