PROGRAM
The Mining Foundation of the Southwest is a non-profit organization working to ensure that the public understands the importance of maintaining a strong and vibrant domestic and international mining industry. To achieve this goal, the MFSW funds the Education-Outreach program at the University of Arizona’s Lowell Institute for Mineral Resources. This program focuses on communicating the importance of mining to our economy, our lifestyle and our quality
of life. The Outreach Program reaches thousands of students, parents and teachers through presentations and exhibits at schools, STEM events and museums throughout Arizona. Your sponsorship will enable the MFSW to continue its ongoing mission.
