DESCRIPTION

Reitmeier Mechanical has long been an advocate for recycling utilizing salvaged and energy efficient products whenever possible. After acquiring their new Corporate Offices located in Tualatin, Oregon it was only natural that the complete TI remodel be focused on building “Green” with the emphasis on achieving LEED “Silver” certification. Reitmeier Mechanical methodically sought to find participating partners willing to recycle all the building materials found during the demolition phase (i.e. wood, metal, gypsum board, copper wiring, and plumbing fixtures). The “Green” building techniques employed in the design phase of this project focused on energy efficiency, while the construction techniques primarily consisted of construction waste diversion and material reuse. Both the lighting and the HVAC systems were designed with a high degree of controllability in order to optimize energy usage.

Company BackgroundReitmeier Mechanical's staff is made up of trained professionals dedicated to creating unique Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) solutions for our greater Portland commercial business clients. The primary focus of Reitmeier Mechanical is to provide the growing commercial sector with a superior product of "Service" and professional integrity. "Meeting and exceeding customer expectations is the company's first priority." Reitmeier Mechanical believes in forming lasting partnerships with their clients and bears the responsibility of continued growth and industry awareness to fulfill that promise.

All Reitmeier Mechanical employees are fully supported and reimbursed for any professional training and technical education that relates to their chosen profession. We are active in several Trade Organizations such as Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) apprenticeship program, Associated General Contractors (AGC) (our president is member of the Oregon/Columbia Chapter Board of Directors and a member of the national AGC Specialty Contractors Council) and Oregon Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ORACCA) to name a few. Through networking and contributing to these organizations we are able to gain access to the latest educational opportunities available in our industry.

Reitmeier Mechanical provides the finest technical expertise in the area of HVAC engineering, construction and maintenance in the greater Portland area. The company is centrally located in the Portland Metropolitan area, which easily allows for service to all areas. The company's service technicians spend the majority of their time in the field serving the customer base. When support is required the nearest available technician is dispatched to the service location. Fast, reliable communication to the technicians is provided via a direct digital communication system. If repair parts are required that are not in the technicians inventory, a delivery driver will procure the part and deliver to the project site. Technical support is a team effort, which includes dispatch, field technicians, delivery personnel and account executives.

Reitmeier Mechanical feels that there is no “substitute for experience”. All employees assigned to specific projects are carefully screened and selected according to experience, aptitude and reputation. We offer both in-house and professional training year round for our employee’s. Each employee is provided the tools to grow and expand their base of knowledge. In the long run, we find this approach provides quality workmanship to our customers. By providing the “right man” at the “right time” with the “right tools and equipment”, we feel helps produce the most cost efficient project possible.
