Scope

This document contains the Release Notes for the latest version R19 of your PropCoTM Enterprise system.

Issues listed in the schedule are referenced by their tracking number. Where these issues arise from a client request, details of the originating ticket are given.

Details of the Release changes are given below.

These Release Notes comprise an addition to your PropCoTM Enterprise Manual.

Release 19 OverviewIn this update we are introducing a large number of improvements to PropCo system including bug fixes, enhancements to current functionalities and introduction of new features.

We have detailed 36 key changes in these release notes and grouped them by the area they relate to in alphabetical order in the table below. The actual number of individual entries in the index may be less as some of them describe more than one change.

Fields that were no longer in use have been removed.

Control Heading field can now be typed into which makes it possible for the user to create new headings.

Two new fields introduced: 'Report Heading' & 'Wear and Tear'

Their use is optional and only relevant if reports are configured to consider them. Contact Support for further details.

but not agents who want a different name to display for marketing purposes.

#Now on: The Marketing Name can be be used to label an office differently. The use of this field is optional and requires the feeds, workflows etc to be modfied to make use of this change. In other words, it will not affect your existing set up.

#Now on: Safety Inspection reminders/visits for a property can now be filtered for 'Chimney Sweep' category, where available.

On selecting option “Chimney Sweep”, records should match to the item “Does Property Have Solid Fuel” on the Sales – Property Details tab Property Checks section when this is ticked “Yes”.

PEV-122 – TENANT RECORD: System now prevents the user from adding a duplicate BACS ID – Functionality – RT#

#Earlier: There was no validation at user level, which restricts a user or warns them about the data filled in Tenant BACS ID is used on another records.

#Now on: The System will prompt the user about Duplicate BACS ID and prevents them to save or continue in entering the data with duplication.

#Earlier: No check was in place which restricts and/ or prompts the user about a character limit specified by Rightmove & Zoopla

#Now on: Where the option ‘SMALL_DESCR_THRESHOLD_LIMIT’ is enabled, i.e. the Value is set to anything other than '0':

This option defines the character limit for the Short Description field.

The User will be shown a warning if the word count exceeds the limit for Rightmove & Zoopla which are as follows:

# Earlier: While paying a fee using the Deposit, if the user closed the window, the system would add a fee with amount £0.00 and subsequently throw an exception when finishing the process.

On clicking ‘X‘ a fee with amount £0.00 was added which resulted in an error:

Once enabled, only the users with access right 'Amend Deposit Scheme' and 'Administrator' can edit the Deposit Scheme No. & Deposit Scheme fields once data has been entered and record saved.

By default this screen will only display data upto last 12 months old.

Click 'Load all' to load all historic data

The option 'FEES_DISBURSEMENT_DATA_BYMONTHS' is set to '0' by default and sets the default date range to be last 12 months. Setting it to a numeric value sets the corresponding default date range. Setting it to 6 for example would set the default date range to be 6 months.

If option value is set to '-1', the date filter does not apply and will load everything by default.
