Several Mediterranean countries with relevant citrusproduction missing.

Topics:

Introduction of Toxoptera citricida, the main vectorof citrus tristeza virus, in mainland Portugal, and thenorth of Spain.

Medfly Ceratitis capitata was the most representedin number of presentations.

A visit to the Madeira Island after the meeting (28-30 September 2005): Madeira med fly programme, andCentres of floriculture, bananiculture, and fruticulture.
