Report on Swachhta Pakhwada

The NSS Group of Vivekananda College organized a campaign under the program "Swachhta Pakhwada” to clean the college premises from 7th Sep to 15th Sep. The whole college was divided into some parts and each part was cleaned by the volunteers according to the following schedule:

7th Sep 2018 – Classrooms (Old Building)

10th Sep 2018 – Classrooms (New Building)

11th Sep 2018 – Auditorium

13th Sep 2018 – Playgrounds, Lawns

14th Sep 2018 – Library, Canteen, Open stage, Front Gate of College

15th Sep 2018 – Computer Labs, Roads near by college

We also organized a rally on 12th Sep 2018 on cleanliness in the college and an exhibition cum demonstration competition on the topic of “Safai kyon? Aur kaise?” on 18th Sep 2018. Some of students made models to visualize cleanliness more clearly. Students in the competition offered many suggestions about cleanliness and how to keep our environment clean and safe. Besides of all these, groups of NSS volunteers talked about cleanliness to other students and spread awareness about the importance of it.

Winners of exhibition cum demonstration competition were : 1st prize - Richa (English (H) 3rd year) Karishma Pandey (B.A Prog. 3rd year) 2nd prize - Kshama Yadav (Maths (H) 1st year) 3rd prize – Reena (History (H) 1st year)
