A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE EARLY CHURCH STATE SMK 1 MAJALENGKA:A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE EARLY CHURCH STATE SMK 1 MAJALENGKA:A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE EARLY CHURCH STATE SMK 1 MAJALENGKA:A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE EARLY CHURCH STATE SMK 1 MAJALENGKA:

SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo as one of the existing vocational school in Sidoarjo and is the first vocational school located in Sidoarjo, take an active role in preparing human resources as a formidable workforce, able to compete, competent, master of science and technology, and able to produce a superior product. But in reality infrastructure practice at SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo far from sufficient, so it is difficult to taste SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo can realize its mission which aims to generate human resources as described above. Since our inception in 1975, the school was designed as a school parent, where learning theory implemented in the parent school, and instructional practices implemented in Technical Education Training Center (BLPT)Surabaya, But in practice there are several problems, among others:

The location is far enough practice, and practice to get to take a relatively long time, caused its own problems for students when implementing practices; include: safety factor of students in the course are quite vulnerable, late students arrive at practice (BLPT Surabaya) , the emergence of additional costs beyond the cost in the form of school transportation costs are considered burdensome by the parents / guardians of the students. The development of the study program, resulting in the entire course of study that does not exist in SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo can carry BLPT practice in Surabaya.

Seeing the problem, then at the beginning of school year 1996/1997 SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo start implementing his own practice in SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo, as well as working with SMK Negeri 3 Buduran (formerly State Boating STM) for some programming skills that the equipment is not in SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo.

Nothing the deficiencies as mentioned above, it began early in 1997, SMK Negeri 1 Sidoarjo start preparing to become independent schools, by implementing basic practices in their own schools. Facilities / Infrastructure practice existing base cultivated through several ways, namely:

1.1.1.1. Changing some space theory, generator room, warehouse, and bicycle parking garage students into practice.

2.2.2.2. Re-creating some practice equipment ex Affairs School of Engineering (ST State) are still suitable to be used (this equipment comes from the State ST Waru, Sidoarjo and Probolinggo District ST).

3.3.3.3. Hold new equipment with the help of funds from the new student, the School Committee through donations.

4.4.4.4. Getting donations of equipment from the business / industrial world. Of the business, has now held several workshops to practice basic but that was still inadequate.
