The Wheeler Institute for Business and Development at London Business School is seeking to recruit two full-time research assistants to work closely with leading faculty in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management Science and Operations, Marketing, Organisational Behaviour or Strategy and Entrepreneurship at London Business School.
Our pre-doctoral research assistant programme offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates to pursue their career in academic research at a top business school. Successful candidates will be responsible for assisting faculty in a number of tasks, depending on the type of research and the subject area that they are in. Our research assistants will be able to take PhD courses, attend workshops and seminars and access the rich intellectual and cultural campus life. Overall, these researcher positions provide excellent preparation for high-level doctoral studies.
The position is well-suited for those interested in pursuing rigorous research at the intersection of business and development, with a particular focus on developing countries. Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.

Providing research assistance, e.g. in the form of data collection or analysis
Participating and helping develop cutting-edge research
Coordinating field research in developing countries

The Wheeler Institute for Business and Development resides at London Business School’s main campus, Sussex Place, in the heart of London. Overlooking Regent’s Park, the campus which was designed in the 1800’s is within easy access from the city and the west end.
