Research design is the systematic method and procedures for exploring the information needed. It constitutes a blue print of the whole research process. It also specifies the objectives of the study, the methodology and technique adopted for achieving the objectives. This Research includes study of plantation workers’ Socio-Economical conditions. In this concern Descriptive research design will be used to. A descriptive study aims at portraying accurately the characteristics of a particular group/situation. A Descriptive study may be concerned with the attitudes or views (of a people) towards anything. Thus, Researcher trying to be exploring the factors influences Socio-Economic condition of Plantation labourers and also to prepare possible intervention programmes for development of Socio-Economic condition of Plantation labourers. 3.5 Universe of the study The Individual who are working in coffee plantation and estates in Malnad region of Karnataka state will be the universe of research study. 3.6 Sampling Purposive Random Sampling in Non-probability sampling with proportional allocation will be adopted in order to
