• Rigorous peer review throughout the process• No negative impact to the society

Outcome of a PhD degree for the student (Group 2)

– Academic qualifications of the highest degree• Eligibility for supervision of higher degrees

– Research expertise– Enhanced in confidence in teaching and supervision

of students– It is a criteria for promotion to become a professor

except for Medical doctors (can be promoted after super specialization and experience)
