MAPEI ADHESIVE RANGE

Environmental care and sustainability is a fundamental part of Mapei’s philosophy, its corporate commitment and industrial responsibility. As a result of continual research and development, Mapei successfully developed their popular ECO product line to ensure a safer application for the installer and the surrounding environment, whilst still performing to the highest standards.

All products within the ECO range are solvent-free with very low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC). There is a comprehensive selection of adhesives (Ultrabond Eco VS90, Eco Fix, Eco 170, Eco 380, Eco 520, Eco Tack) suitable for the installation of all types of floor coverings. A significant benefit of the line is they are all suitable for use with underfloor heating systems.

Mapei’s ECO products provide adaptable solutions for construction projects in inhabited areas such as offices, schools and the healthcare sector. Issues such as the need for fast-track installations, reducing downtime on refurbishment projects, and Health and Safety, especially for buildings that cannot be evacuated, have been addressed. The range of ECO products also have characteristics ideal for floors that need to maintain hygienic quality standards, especially in the public sector, which are subject to more traffic and abuse than any other surface.
