Rest Assured Programme We are looking forward to welcoming you to visit. We pride ourselves on being a place you can relax, unwind and spend time together safely. We have created this new programme under guidelines issued from the Government, Fáile Ireland and the IHF, to ensure the highest of standards are in place within the hotel. If you are travelling from outside the EU, England, Scotland and Wales, you will be asked to sign confirmation that you have adhered to the current government guidelines for 14 days aſter your arrival to the country. If you are travelling from within the EU, England, Scotland and Wales, a new EU coordinated approach to travel restrictions is in place. In line with the EU traffic lights approach, the request to restrict movements does not apply to travellers from green regions, or those arriving from Northern Ireland. Your ArrivalFace coverings are required by all hotel guests unless seated at a table for dining.

There are visible notices and sanitising stations at the entrance to the hotel. All brochures and information leaflets have been removed from our public areas. Porterage will be available on request and we are unable to offer luggage storage facilities.

Check In and Check OutHand sanitisers are available on arrival to the hotel and we ask that you please observe social distancing while in the hotel and children are supervised at all times. We have installed safety screens at reception and our reception area will be clearly marked out with ropes and signage.

We ask that only one member of your group to approach the front desk at a time.

We will require a pre authorisation of the card you will be using to settle your bill. Credit Card terminals will be sanitised after each transaction.

We will ask you on arrival to reserve your breakfast time with us.

Our check out process has changed slightly. If you have not pre paid for your stay, we ask that only one member of your group approach the desk on check out. We have a return key box at reception where we ask you to return your key if you have paid in advance. We will gladly email your room receipt to you on request.

Lifts and Public Areas During your stay we ask that you only use the lift with members of your own group. The lift buttons will be sanitised regularly during the day. There is also a sanitising station at the entrance to each lift for your use. Please observe social distancing and hand and respiratory hygiene during your stay. We have dedicated sanitising staff to wipe down all touch points in all public areas throughout the day.

During Your Stay

Guest Room ServicingA selection of items will be removed from our guest rooms during this time. This includes throws, cushions, pens and guest room directories. There will be disposable individually wrapped glasses in your room.

To ensure our guest and staff safety and to limit the times that we enter your room, we are altering the number of times we service your guestroom. If staying 3 nights or more your room will be serviced at least once during your stay.

Our accommodation team have been allocated more time to deep clean our rooms after departure and to ensure that all of our strict guidelines are adhered to. Staff will wear appropriate PPE at all times during cleaning of our guest rooms. The rooms will be ventilated during servicing. Disinfectant sprays and wipes will be used to clean all hard surfaces including telephones, remote controls and switches.

All of our towels are washed at 60-90 degrees. Our linen company return our linen packed and laundered to a very high standard. Accommodation trolleys will be disinfected regularly and limited to use by team members per shift. Our Accommodation manager/supervisor will then recheck each guest room after deep cleaning.

Food and Beverage Services We are operating a full reservation service for our dining here at the hotel to ensure contact tracing. While staying with us, reservations are now required for all dining options including breakfast. Our menus are also available on our website.

Under current guidelines, our bar service, including room service of alcohol, finishes at 11pm each night including New Years Eve.

Live music is not permitted in the hotel.

Breakfast is served in The Coastguard Restaurant and The Binn Bán Brasserie between 8.00am and 11am and is only available by reservation. Reservation can be made on check in. You will be allocated a 45 minute time slot.

We have reconfigured our seating to allow for social distancing between tables and will be offering table service only for food and beverage. The maximum number of people permitted at a table is 6, and a time limit of 105 minutes applies to all tables. There are sanitising stations at the entrance to all of our dining areas and we request that you please use them on during your time at the hotel. Our menus are also available on our website if you would prefer to view on your mobile device. Tables are wiped down with single use sanitising wipes after you leave.

Under current guidelines, our bar areas are required to be vacated by 11.30pm each night.

We encourage contactless payment and room charging where possible.

New Years EveHealth and safety is a priority to all this year and due to current guidelines, New Years Eve will be a different experience here in Dingle. Bar service, including room service of alcohol, will also finish at 11pm. To adhere to all guidelines, live music is not permitted in the hotel on any night, including New Years Eve. The usual New Year festivities in Dingle, including the annual fireworks display unfortunately will not go ahead this year.

Families

As an award winning family hotel, we understand how important your enjoyment and safety as a family is while away. Children are always welcome at the hotel and to ensure safety we ask that you ensure the supervision of your children at all times.

Please note that children will need to be supervised at all times by an adult and will need to sit with an adult at meal times. To ensure all guest and staff safety and comfort we kindly request that you pay particular attention to our public areas and that children are supervised at all times in hotel corridors and all public area.

Under current guidelines, Kids Club activities are not permitted. Our Junior Evening Meals will take place each evening from 5.30pm to 6.00pm. From December 27th we will have supervised Movie screening nights after this in our Skellig Suite. Limited numbers apply.

Due to social distancing compliance, our Teen Klub room is closed at present.

During your stay, our crèche is open as it operates as a childcare facility. Children between the ages of 4 months and 4 years are most welcome and advance booking is required. Extra charges apply. Limited numbers apply.

Our leisure club is also operating a pre booking system, available to book 24 hours in advance system. After check in, we request that you book your family time slot in with us to assist us with our new procedures. Slots are allocated in blocks of 45mins. Children are welcome in the Pool before 8pm each evening.

Spa Services We are offering an extensive list of Spa treatments which are performed to the highest of hygiene and safety standards. We recommend booking your treatment time well in advance of arrival as availability is limited. We are open at weekends and from December 27th to January 5th inclusive. To avoid dissapointment please book your treatment time well in advance.

On arrival to the Spa you will be asked to complete an enhanced questionnaire which includes confirmation that if you have travelled from outside the Island of Ireland, you confirm to have undertaken the current government guidelines in regard your movements for a 14 day period after your arrival to the country. If not we will have to reschedule your appointment.

Our relaxation suite is open to spa guests with booked treatments and we request that you adhere to social distancing. Our Hot tub, Sauna and Steam room are not in service at this time.

Our therapists will be wearing face coverings and disposable aprons during treatments and have been fully trained on our policies and practices under our Rest Assured Programme. We will maintain sterilisation and hygiene practices throughout the day to ensure your health and safety. As we are physically distancing, our guest numbers within the relaxation suite in The Peninsula Spa will be limited. Face coverings are required by guests in the Spa.

Leisure Club Swimming Pool and GymTo ensure the highest of safety and standards, we are limiting numbers at our facilities at any one time. To assist us with this, we are operating a pre booking system to allow for physical distancing. After check in, we request that you book your time slot in with us to assist us with our procedures. Slots are allocated in blocks of 45mins and we ask that you please change in your guest room before arrival as our changing rooms are currently closed. Children are welcome in the Pool until 8pm.

Our staff will sanitise all areas on a regular basis and request that you observe social distancing at all times. Chlorine checks have been increased and chlorine is maintained at a level of 1.5ppm and 2.0ppm.
