To Whom It May Concern:
As an experienced architectural and civil engineer, I am looking for a new direction in my career. The survey crew member position with Pentree Inc. is the career I have been looking for. I am looking for a position to farther my career path in the engineering field.
I graduated from Bluefield State College, receiving a Bachelors of Science in Architectural Engineering Technology and an Associate of Science in Civil Engineering Technology degrees in May of 2010. As you will see on my resume, I became certified CAD/Drafting in 2004 at Wyoming County Career and Technical Center. By getting this certification, I was able to put the skills I had learned to the test and placed second in the state of West Virginia at the 2004 Skills USA/VICA Competition in Architectural Drafting. Also, I was able to test out of AutoCAD class at Bluefield State College with an A. I’m skilled in Google Sketch Up, Carlson Software, and a fast learner when it comes to software.
I would appreciate the opportunity to meet with you regarding an employment opportunity. If you require any further information please contact me at phone number listed above. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
Matthew D. Allen
