Changzhou Othmed Medical Instrument is part of Stryker’s company in China, which is called Trauson (China) Medical Instrument Co. Ltd. For the past several months, I have been working with several well-connected hospitals for promoting Orthmed’s products. Initial sales agreements have been reached with Dalian Zhongshan Hospital and Guangzhou Huaqiao Hospital. Due to lack of funding, I have to resign from this post.

2007 July – 2012 July: Pursued personal interest and worked for my own company, THQer Inc. located in Qingdao, China. The Company mainly engaged in a business for trading collectable Chinese cultural products, such as Chinese paintings, antiques, jade and odd natural stones. This business practice is only serviced as my personal hobby for five years.

2002 October – 2007 August:  CEO and President of Primanex Corporation at Fremont and in China, The Latter is a joint venture of Primanex and a Chinese

Corporation。Primanex Corp was established on the year of 2000 at Fremont, California, developing and manufacturing fiber optical components, such as optical switches, optical attenuators, isolators, DWDMs. Our patented products are called solid state optical switches in which there are no moving parts when making optical signal switching. JDS Uniphase is still one of our customer using these switches in their popular product—SWSS (selective wavelength switching system). Primanex’s products are broadly used in the areas of telecom and sensing system around world.

After running out of money during 2002 (high-tech bubble bursted), I was sent to China by The Board of Directors for looking for new funding and investors in China. When I succeeded in raising the money in China, Primanex pointed me as CEO and President in charge of the joint venture in China and operations of Primanex at Fremont. Primanex sold its most of shares in the Joint Venture to its Chinese Partner on the year of 2007 and I exited from the company.

During my term at Primanex, the company was growing up from one employee to 200 plus employees’ Company; successfully built up strong management team and technical team; The Company purchased 16 Acres land as very low cost and its manufacturing campus was built up without cost. To attract more talents to Primanex, a R&D center was set up at Qingdao on 2004. Within two years after I set up the company, more than ten new products were delivered to customers with patents protected. To best serving our customer’s interests, volume production lines were

And also made the operation standards, regulation and rules of the company to meet requirements of business practice in China.

Successfully brought products to the market and won many designs from our clients during the first year of my term.

Implemented quality control system for volume production of fiber optical components, e.g. ISO9000-2000 and set up efficient management system by adopting ERP.

Working with Government, acquired 100 Chinese acres land with lowest price for building the Company’s campus. The campus was furnished on spring of 2006 without spending a penny.
