Provide links for the individual to get your complete resume / LinkedIn profile

How is it different?

Provide very specific information

Mirror the job description’s responsibilities and required qualifications

Resume for applying directly to the job

Use the right type of resume Do not use tables because a resume parser will not pull your

information correctly Do not include reference information on your resume unless you

have permission from that person Provide enough information to the reviewer to get them interested

but not enough information for them to know everything. They have to want to know more to interview you

There is no need to provide your full address, only the City, State and Zip Code is needed

Create your resume for readers, skimmers, and jumpers Use bolding, bullets, capitalization and lines to keep your resume

easy to read and organized Use the internet to find templates and more information

It takes time for matches to be made. You

don’t find your life partner easily. It’s the same with a job.

It takes persistence to find your next job. You won’t get your dream job unless you work for it constantly
