Dear Friends in Christ, Drought in Missouri, wild fires out west, floods all over, hurricanes out east, let’s take a minute, yes right now, stop read-ing, and thank God for all the blessings He has given us. Let’s pray for all those who are dealing with the drought, the fires and the floods. Even during all these hard times, God is hard at work through us. A young girl in Florida raises thousands selling cup-cakes to help the homeless, Thai boys soccer team rescued from cave, customers at a Connecticut Dunkin’ Donuts do a 3 1/2 hour pay it forward chain. Hi Everyone I’m Deacon

If you’ve been to Heit’s Point over the past few years, you may have noticed me sitting quietly at Jesus’s feet on the rocks by the waterfall in the Lobby. I have enjoyed my roll in the lobby. Some groups dress me up for their event. I’ve been an Irishman, I’ve worn Mardi Gras beads, and most recently I was a super hero. But what I’ve enjoyed most is witnessing all the people that have come and grown in their relationship with Christ through worship and with each other through fellowship.

This coming year I hope to be more active in my ser-vice. I will be sharing with you about upcoming events and what people have shared about their experiences. If you need my help, contact Mark and he can tell you what I’m capable of.

I’m looking forward to serving you when you’re here.

Sincerely

Deacon

Heit’s Point Mission Endowment The purpose of this endowment is to be good stewards of the gifts

given and to further the Mission and Ministry of Heit’s Point

Lutheran Ministries.

The funds generated from the endowment will be used to ensure that Heit’s Point contin-

ues to provide programs for youth summer camps, youth retreats, adult getaways, singles

retreats, couples retreats, church gatherings, and other programs that support the churches

of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.

The endowment is managed by the Heit’s Point endowment committee consisting of the

Vice Chairman and Treasurer of the Heit’s Point Board of Directors, and 3 other members

of the Friends of Heit’s Point assembly. The Executive Director shall be an Ex Officio

member of the committee. The committee meets at least twice a year.

To get more information on how you can be a part of the future of the Ministry at Heit’s

Point, please contact Executive Director Mark Nolte to schedule an informational meeting.
