Organized by: SUMMARY Saudi Solar Trade Mission to Spain “An opportunity for solar energy alliances between Saudi Arabia and Spain” The Spanish Photovoltaic Union (UNEF), in collaboration with the Saudi Arabia Solar Industry Association (SASIA), is holding a Trade Mission to identify potential investment and partnering opportunities between Saudi and Spanish companies. This Mission will encourage Spanish and Saudi Arabian stakeholders to share experiences, creating an excellent opportunity to discuss PV technology, exchange successful strategies and develop partnerships for joint projects in Saudi Arabia. Delegates from Saudi Arabia will visit Spain from 17–24 November to see firsthand how Spain has integrated renewable technologies—particularly PV—into the electrical network. UNEF and the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX) will support the visit as part of their sectorial planning initiatives. Saudi authorities, executives and companies will be welcomed by their Spanish counterparts, visiting control centers and photovoltaic plants throughout the country. A key goal of the mission will be to identify solutions for connecting a variety of renewable installations to the grid, emphasizing both technical and economic reliability. The Mission will include the attendance of FORO SOLAR. This Forum, seeks to provide a yearly meeting point and a place for debate for the Photovoltaic Solar Industry in Spain, which has led the market and the development of technology at an international level. Spain” Madrid, 17–21 November 2014 The Spanish Photovoltaic Union (UNEF), in collaboration with the Saudi Arabia Solar

Industry Association (SASIA), is holding a Trade Mission to identify potential investment and partnering opportunities between Saudi and Spanish companies.

This Mission will encourage Spanish and Saudi Arabian stakeholders to share experiences, creating an excellent opportunity to discuss PV technology, exchange successful strategies and develop partnerships for joint projects in Saudi Arabia.

AFTERNOON: Visit CECRE/REE - Control Centre of Renewable Energies (CECRE) – CECRE is the first center in the world for controlling and managing the electricity generation obtained from renewable energy producers, primarily wind farms, which makes it possible to integrate the maximum production of renewable energy into the electricity system whilst maintaining the levels of quality and guaranteeing the security of supply.
