3 - One of the hot-spots of your administration
in taking the tourism to the countryside. The
project Pernambuco knows Pernambuco will be
the differential that will impel the tourism in
the state? The administration of Eduardo Campos
has the conscience of the economic importance of
tourism, of how the sector can contribute to develop
the state generating more jobs and income. Because
of that, working to improve the tourism in the
countryside is a priority. According to a research,
60% of pernambucanos, prefer traveling to other
states in the northeast to traveling inside our own
state. With Pernambuco knows Pernambuco, our
intention is to make our people travel inside their own
land. With this, we stimulate the generation of jobs
and incone, because the program is permanent, and
we also make the tourist to be advertisers of the
beauty and the attractions of their own state. The
project was discussed with all the society and the
tourism trade in a very democratic and open way.
Agencies and travel operators were involved to
reinforce the commercialization of routes, creating
special conditions for the partners of Pro-lazer, Sesc,
Sesi, Clubes da Melhor Idade, students and unions.
The project has a budget of R$ 3.5 million, with
money from the State Government and the Tourism
Ministry.
One or two times a month, we hold huge events in one
of the routes to call attention even more for the
tourism destinations. We recently, held an event in
the Luiz Gonzaga Route, that comprises the towns of
BR-232: Gravat, Bezerros, Caruaru, Bonito, Moreno
e Brejo da Madre de Deus. I believe that the
