Programming Instructions

I. Overview

Three card levels are available for the operation of the lock.

Main-Admin card

The Main-Admin card is required only when programming and deprogramming Admin cards.

The Main-Admin card has no locking function

Admin card

The Admin card manages the user cards

The Admin card has an emergency unlock function

User card

The User card is made available to users so that they can open and close the door

User Mode

Before programming, select the most appropriate function for the application:

A) Private Use – each user has their own lock that is synced to their user card that will only work with that

specific lock.

Note: this is the default factory setting.

B) Public Use – used for short term, multi user applications. Any card will work with any available lock.

Note: when locked in public mode a red light will flash every 5 seconds to indicate the locker is in use

Change from Private use into Public use:

Hold Main admin card to lock for 1-2 seconds (green light flashes 3 times), then repeat again for 3 seconds until

green light flashes, setup successfully.

Repeat the above process to switch back to Private use.

How to operate the lock

Open : Present the User card / Admin card to the lock, green light flashes, rotate the handle 90 degrees in a

clockwise direction, open the door

Close: Present the User card / Admin card to the lock or wait for 5 seconds after opening, the lock will lock

automatically, rotate the handle 90 degrees counter clockwise.

II. Programming RFID cards with the RFID LOCK

The RFID cards activate various functions when they are presented to the lock.

Programming Main-Admin cards:

- Hold the Main-Admin card in front of the lock for 1~2 seconds (green light flashes 3 times) wait approximately

5 seconds, setup successfully.

Programming Admin cards:

- Hold the Main-Admin card in front of the lock for 1~2 seconds (green light flashes 3 times), remove the card

Then hold the Admin card to be programmed in front of the lock for 1~2 seconds. (green light flashes 3 times),

hold the Main-Admin card again in front of the lock for 1~2 seconds (green light flashes), remove the card; setup

successfully.

- Repeat this procedure for all Admin cards that you’d like to program (max. 10 cards).

- Programming a User card:

- Hold an Admin card in front of the lock for1~2 seconds. (green light flashes 3 times), remove the card

- Then hold the user card to be programmed in front of the lock for 1~2 seconds until green light flashes,

remove the card

- Repeat this procedure for all user cards that you’d like to program (max. 10 cards).

III. Deprogramming RFID cards with the RFID LOCK

What happens if admin or user cards are lost? The following instructions detail how to deprogramme cards in

order to maintain the security of the locks.

Deprogramming a Main-Admin card:

- Reset the lock - remove the battery cover, press the reset button until the lock flash 4 times, then release the

button, reset successfully.

Deprogramming individual Admin cards:

- Hold the Main-Admin card in front of the lock for about

5 seconds (green light flashes 3 times), until it flashes red one time, remove the card;

- After that, the Admin card to be deprogrammed is held for approximately 5 seconds in front of the lock (green

light flashes) until it flashes red twice.

- Along with the Admin card, all keycards that were programmed with this Admin card will be deprogrammed

automatically. Keycards that were programmed by other Admin cards will remain valid.

- Repeat this procedure with all Admin cards that you would like to deprogramme.

Deprogramming individual user cards:

- Hold the Admin card that was used to programme the user card to be deprogrammed in front of the lock for

about 5 seconds. The lock first displays a green flashing light, then it flashes red one time, remove the card;

- After that, the user card to be deprogrammed is held for approximately 5 seconds in front of the lock until it

flashes red twice, remove the card

- Repeat this procedure with all user cards that you would like to deprogram.

Deprogramming all user cards:

- To deprogram all user cards, hold the Admin card that was used to program the user cards in front of the lock

for about 5 seconds until it flashes red one time, remove the card; Then hold the Admin card again about 5

seconds until it flashes red twice, remove the card.

- All user cards that were programmed with this Admin card will be deprogrammed at the same time. If several

Admin cards are used, this procedure will have to be carried out separately for each Admin card.

- The Admin card remains valid.

III. Additional instructions

Timeout:

- The programming or deprogramming mode is terminated when no action is carried out (i.e. the card is

neither introduced nor removed) for approximately 10 seconds.

- The programming or deprogramming mode will be stop when the action is incorrect (flashes red)

- When the RFID lock is unlocked with a user card, the door has to be opened within 5 seconds. otherwise,

the RFID lock will relock automatically.

Visual Indications

- Green light flashing (3 times) for the below cases:

- 1) The RFID card was recognised, i.e. this card has already been programmed with this particular LOCK.

- 2) Confirmation that the action (programming or deprogramming) was successfully completed.

- Red light blinking for the below cases:

- 1) The RFID card was not recognised, i.e. this card has not yet been programmed with this particular LOCK.

2) Presented the wrong card when programming or deprogramming

Public / Private Mode

When the lock is in private mode there are no visual indications

When the lock is in public mode locks that are in use will flash red every 5 seconds to show that they are in use

Emergency Opening

- Unlock by Admin key if losing the user card or by the mechanical master key. The master key can be used to

open the lock at any time. This does not affect the lock programming in any way.

Low battery alarm

-The alarm will sound if the battery is low and the LED will flash red 5 times warning users to replace the battery

soon.

Changing the Battery

1. Remove fixing screw

2. Rotate the lock down over the edge of door

3. Take out the batteries

4. Put in the new batteries and screw lock back into place
