Description Ribonuclease H (RNase H) is an endoribonuclease that specifically hydrolyzes the phosphodiester bonds of RNA which is hybridized to DNA (RNA-DNA hybrids).
Applications:
• Degradation of mRNA - prior to synthesis of second strand cDNA • Degradation of RNA after first strand cDNA synthesis - RT-PCR and RT-
QPCR
