The journey being a rotaractorhas been great and I would liketo thank rotary for the values andlessons it taught me. The journeyhere was full of deadlines, pres-entations and fests which has notonly given me great managementexperiences but also lessons oftime and people management.Managing events being districtsecretary for events this yearwould have not been easy if theorganization did not had lot manylike minded and dedicated crowdwith urge to learn new things andaccept challenges. The District

July, 2015 by two clubs Rotaractclub of Techplorers and Rotaractclub of Aurangabad West at HotelYash Grand, Ahemadnagar.

It was for the first time in historyof R. I. District 3132 that weplanned four fellowship meets onzonal level, which executed onsame day with same agenda. Theefforts taken by district eventscommittee towards the commit-ment and the support of fellowrotaractors who willingly cameforward to host the fellowshipmeets in respective zones re-sulted in great success. Themeets was planned on 15th Au-gust for all zones and as a resultthe day spent was enjoyable andhelped building strong bondsamong the rotaractors from vari-ous clubs in the zone. To addessence of the IndependenceDay the host clubs & participantshad digital flag hoisting beforethe planned agenda for the day. Moreover keeping in mind themain purpose of meet i.e. build-ing bonds we the events commit-tee also made it compulsion forhost club to organize inter clubposter making competition on thetopic “Its 68 years since Indiagot freedom. Is India reallyfree?” It was fun to see rotarac-tors contributing their ideas andnumber of hands working to-gether to make beautiful posters

with great messages. The hostclubs for various zones wereRotaract Club of Achievers, Rota-ract Club of Latur Midtown, Rota-ract Club of Barshi Evergreen andRotaract Club of Satara YouthCamp for zone 1, 2, 3 and 4respectively.

Looking at the enthusiasm anddedications we opened bid fordistrict conference 2015-16 to beheld in the month of March. Moreover the Events committeeplans to have more ZFMs in com-ing months so that the bonds getstronger and fun never ends. Now following on the path of ourmoto i.e. self development weplan to have our ZFMs in theformat of one day RYLA and / orROPe, so that we keep on learn-ing while we are enjoying.
