Vineyard: Heinz Eifel Riesling Kabinett is made from very ripeRiesling grapes from the middle Mosel Valley of Ger-many. These grapes are allowed to hang longer, earn-ing the designation of ‘Kabinett’ because that is where these wines were stored for special occasions.
2012 Vintage: Weather conditions in June was much better and thebloom was completed by mid/end of the month. Aftera rainy July fortunately the summer came in August wi-th hot and dry weather, followed by a great Septemberand record high temperatures in October with more than20°C on several days. That means ideal conditions to fullyripen the grapes. The Riesling harvest started mid of Oct-ober and was �nished beginning of November. The num-ber of high-quality wine vintages in the Mosel wine-grow-ing region continues. Must weights are often late and rea-ding area. After the moderate temperatures in summer theautumn still brought the "Golden October" - just in time forthe late-ripening Riesling grapes on the steep slopes of theMosel river. The Riesling grapes had a very long ripeningphase, which greatly bene�t the fruit and aroma character-istics. The state of health of the grapes was particularly plea-sing as it provided best possible prerequisites for top winesin all quality grades. Wine lovers can look forward to distinc-tively fruity, well balanced white wines.
Flavor: Exudes �avors and aromas peaches and citrus. A well balanced young, fresh and fruity wine with crisp acidity.
Food Afinity: Its slight sweetness makes it a perfect match with aged cheeses, chicken and cream sauces.
Alcohol: 8.5 % RS: 47 g/l TA: 8.0 g/l
