Comprising of seven original songs

composed over a period of three years, as

well as one composition by Erik Satie, the

first album from Morten Poulsen Trio mixes

freedom and structure with an almost anti-

stylistic approach to improvisation that

takes place on a highly communicative

level.

Inspired by early experimental electronic

music and jazz/avant-garde, the music on

RIGHT! alternates between wide open

sounds and dense rhythmic patterns.

BIO

Morten Poulsen is a danish drummer,

composer and sound artist, whose constant

curiosity and playful approach have been

breaking boundaries between musical

genres since early childhood. With an

entrepreneur ial spir i t , Mor ten has

collaborated with artists from many

countries and is the founder of the record

label Outrovaert.

Dutch guitar player Jorrit Westerhof is

known for being highly versatile and has

already won several awards. He has

performed with established artists like

Michael Moore, Eric Vloeimans and

Michael Vatcher.

Jonathan Simon Seest is a danish bass

player and composer, primarily working

with avantgarde, nu-jazz and free

improvisation. Jonathan studied at Oslo

Musikkhøgskole.
