Canal & River Trust

Land & Water’s specially designed equipment was required to complete this sensitive dredging project where seals and other wildlife inhabit the area.

The water injection project for the Canal & River Trust took place in the lock approach at the River Tees Barrage. An intensive water quality regime was implemented to monitor the efforts throughout the works and ensure the safety of the wildlife.

Project Delivery• 5,000m3 of silt was removed using the water injecting

dredging process

• Land & Water’s new Duprojet technology employed which has been successfully proven in other tidal dredging locations

• Project took place over 7 days with intensive monitoring
